Great stay in Fort Lauderdale!

We had a great stay at Just Another Day in Paradise. The house is spacious and beautifully appointed. We were very comfortable there. We particularly enjoyed the private backyard and pool where we spent most of our waking hours. We grilled out and ate poolside most of our nights there. The tiki hut was a handy retreat when there was an occasional shower! This is our second year in Fort Lauderdale and we plan to make it back next year, too! - (Feb 2019 - VRBO)

Home away from home

Fantastic home!

Well stocked house, perfect for family getaway

My family of 5 (with 3 kids ages 2, 4, and 6) had a wonderful time at Tom and Jan's house. We have stayed at many vacation rentals in South Florida. This place was obviously stocked by folks who understand the rigors and challenges of traveling as family. Everything we forgot and said we would just buy was already there! Shampoo, toothbrushes, extra paper towels, and body wash to name a few. The welcome basket was a nice touch as well. Linens were amply supplied and the kitchen well stocked. We all enjoyed the relaxing backyard. The pool was sparkly clean and the tiki hut with adjacent grill was a great hangout. Just Like Home!

If I could give 6 stars I would! My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. Extremely clean and it had everything we needed. The pool and the Tiki Hut was perfect and relaxing when our family came over. The managers, Mr. And Mrs. Brain, were really accommodating and they were very pleasant. Beautiful and Spotless!

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything is provided for you from toothbrushes to aloe! We were a party of two couples that enjoyed the pool so much. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The linens and towels were premium quality. It was so convenient to have a washer and dryer. We came home with ZERO dirty laundry. This home is located perfectly with a quick drive to restaurants, the beach and the airport. We loved it and hated to leave. We would love to come back! Thanks Tom and Jan for being great hosts. Great place for a family of five

We had a great time at Jan and Tom's house over Christmas and New Year. The house had everything we needed, even a crib and high chair for the baby, and the older sisters loved the pool in the back yard. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful, both before and after arrival, and we felt very welcome. The only downsides were that the fence in the back yard (which provided nice privacy) also saved the mosquitos from blowing away, which was a bit annoying, and that the beach was a bit farther away than we expected. But that was our mistake. The restaurants at the relatively nearby Cypress Creek Station Shopping Center were great, and we even took a trip to Disney World. Home Away From Home

We really enjoyed our stay at your property. It is really a home away from home. The little things you do to help, like the fruit basket and coffee, was so welcome. After long day on road, it was so nice to sit down to a cup of coffee, a muffin and pear. I am very interested in the story of the little house and how it came to be such a pleasure to travelers. The neighborhood was so quite and enjoyed walks in evenings. It was a bit cool for the pool, should have ask for the heat, but the service man kept it clean and ready. The house was spotless when we arrived and just like the photos in the ad. We loved returning each evening to relax and sleep well, in awesome beds. Only thing missing was a cookie sheet, but made do with broiler pan and the disposable pans. totally happy stay. So easy to sweep up and dust mop the floors. Thank you for the shower chair, took a bit of wrangling but was good to have it. If need should arise we will definitely contact you again to stay in your home. An oasis on our journey

What a wonderful experience. Our first VROB, but certainly not the last. Great place for my siblings and I to meet and bond while enjoying a huge family Thanksgiving Celebration near by. The hous is well appointed and equipped so nothing needed to be schleped but our luggage. Perfect slice of Paradise

We had a lovely stay at this home! Every room is EXACTLY as pictured on the website, Jan and Tom are very attentive and responded quickly to our questions or concerns (which were few). To be methodical about it, here is a list of our pros & cons for this "slice of paradise" Pros: comfortable beds in every room, TONS of towels (pool and hygiene variety), useable beach gear (chairs, umbrella, sand toys!) spacious clean kitchen (in fact whole home is extremely clean), has every appliance you'll ever need, pool is a great size and loved having lots of chairs and lounge chairs outside, great music sound system, safe neighborhood, attentive managers (Jan & Tom), helpful directions for care of the home (i.e. trash day, operating electronics & air, etc) Cons: neighbors to the east keep a bee hive up against the fence where pool is, so if you are allergic to bees, keep that in mind. They were only a problem 1.5 days for us (when the neighbors stirred them up to collect honey) but could be an issue for a highly allergic guest. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were happy and satisfied with our decision. After reading (and signing) the guest book, I can assure any potential renters there have been MANY satisfied guests and many that have returned multiple times!
